Calculating Resistance Values for an Astable 555 Timer? - cycling 60 f

Capacity = 10 (micro-F)
Cycle = 60%
Frequency = need (to make every second and maybe 1?)

The values and the way forward would be much appreciated ...

This is not a simple linear equation (which, moreover, to R = 2 / 3 ohms!), Because they are considered implicit, exponential, and the capacity in the formula. The state 555, when the voltage across the capacitor Vc fell 1 / 3 and 2 / 3 supply voltage 555 V. The load capacitor Vc V, even below the lower threshold and to 0 V Vc exceeds the threshold if increased. The formulas for the values of R and C are in ref.
For 1 Hz, 0.4 s 0.6 s low high, I R1 = 29K, R2 = 57 K.

Duty cycle = 60% = 0.6

0.6 = 1 / (1 + R) as f (x) = 1 Hz and a cycle of T = (a) / (T (a) + T (off)) f = 1 / T

Where R is the corresponding external resistor when the timer is disabled.

Solving simple linear equations to obtain R.

I suggest you Google "555 timer", then use the appropriate forms.
